This computer offers a very fast processor, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, and tons of storage. It is a basic chassis, rather plain and simple. It has WiFi and Ethernet, BUT and this is a big but; it does not have the latest WiFi-AC or Bluetooth, and the Ethernet is 10/100 NOT Gigabit.

For what this is, better specs/build than most other budget or similar price laptops @ Best Buy. CPU good (Intel Core i5, 2core/4 threads). (Good balance of performance & power consumption, for mobile or battery powered device.) RAM good. 8GB good amount for Windows. DDR4, so faster speeds & better power efficiency. USB, 1 port has USB 3.1 SuperSpeed (SS) (10Gbps). (Newer current standard, newer & faster than most budget or mid-level laptops.) Storage, hard disk drive (HDD) unusually large. Cons (or disappointments) - Power battery capacity 31WHr. (About the lowest capacity that laptops come with. So expect shorter battery time, a few hours.) No Bluetooth. Wi-Fi wireless network 802.11b/g/n, single band 2.4GHz only (no 5GHz), 1x1 (so likely 150Mbps max speed for n connection). (Decent speed, ok. Just older generation WiFi, instead of current ac standard (433Mbps max speed, at least), & no dual band, no MIMO.) Ethernet wired network (RJ-45) only 10/100Mbps. (Previous generations speeds, instead of current 1000Mbps/1Gbps or faster.) Controversial, depends on you physically or your preferences - Display screen, 768p (HD) resolution on 15" screen. You have to try it & see if ok or not to your vision. (My vision can see the pixels/dots, looks grainy, text rendering appears uneven or irregular or distorted; for all computers with these specs (unless has high quality screen, unlikely, likely to be low or medium quality).) Decent laptop for most common tasks. Not for heavy games or high end or heavy computing tasks. 1 reviewer for this item stated they upgraded the internal WiFi. If so, must be a removable card; not sure what kind of slot, interface, & form factor (m.2, mini-PCIe, etc.?). Also stated they replaced HDD with SSD (SATA interface) (2.5" bay or form factor). Implied no extra/empty slot for m.2 SSD (to allow 2 internal drive setup), since stated can use replaced HDD externally. (Would be pro if this has m.2 slot for SSD, to allow for 2 internal drives. I have not found info or verified.) Many things that are cons or you want better could be upgraded with external devices, mainly connected to USB (unless supports wireless connection). Including adding Bluetooth, or better Wi-Fi. May want USB hub or dock (at least same speed or version), if need more than 1 connection to USB 3.1 port. At a good deal price, this can be worth getting, & upgrading if preferred.
