• "cheap-y" "TN" panel at this low price class with only 768 lines of pixels (less than a megapixel, total). Choose an IPS panel with 1080p (2 M-pix) or 1440 lines "3K" screen in the lid.

• We have not, no. My son uses it for classes and online gaming in his fourth year of college. If your previous computer was Full HD 1080P then you may notice a difference as this one is 720P HD. But his games look great.
