Try going into the window the game is in and pressing Alt+Enter. This usually makes windows into full-screen in most versions of Windows. Especially ones that run in fixed windows that don't allow you to maximize the window. If that doesn't work, you may want to lower your screen resolution temporarily to make the window bigger comparatively.
