• Mine has Windows 10; the old one now has Ubuntu 16. The screen in Ubuntu is not well supported as a touch device. I hope that changes.

• It has WIndows 10 home edition. As far as texture, the laptop shell itself has textured parallel lines on the top. It is not smooth.

• No, this does not have Windows 7 on it. This computer comes with Windows 10.
