• I am a recent high school graduate and I would recommend this laptop! It is a great choice for your child. I have used Docs and the internet and its great. You can even download Google Chrome on it (what the schools are using now days). Comparing the price to competitors, its a steal at Best Buy! The touch screen is a HUGE plus. It works great for everything. Hope I helped :)

• Your are paying a premium to get 384 extra cores "Radeon R5" added just for playing games with lots of intense action, helped along with generation four "DDR4" memory from a high-end desktop computer with Intel's Core-i7 "Max turbo" CPU. Converts the battery charge to heat rapidly, so the fan's loud and you have to keep plugging it in a lot...many extra hours of battery life in laptops without gaming tournament graphics inside.
