A:Answer By coincidence, I recently met someone with a very nice, pricey computer, with 16GB of RAM, who complained to me that although he could use his PC to run Illustrator, he was frustrated that it took so long for the various operations to complete. I explained to him that, had he taken the trouble to actually CHECK THE ADOBE WEBSITE first, something the dumbest 10-year old gamer would have known to do, he would have seen that Adobe has both minimum recommendations for use of Illustrator and preferred recommendations. The latter notes the use of a minimal, separate video card, something this computer doesn't have. Like most laptops, it also doesn't have space for one, so it is not possible to add the card aftermarket.
To summarize: HP Team is correct, you can run Illustrator with this laptop, but you will be limited. I recommend looking for either a computer geared for business (which this one isn't) or one for gaming, like this HP ( https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-victus-15-6-full-hd-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-7535hs-8gb-ddr5-memory-amd-radeon-rx-6550m-512gb-ssd-mica-silver/6578933.p?skuId=6578933 ), which is costlier, but is on sale at Best Buy from time to time.
