Modern processors and other components generate a lot of heat, and the only real way to get rid of that heat is to have one or more fans pulling air in and then exhausting it out of computer case. Without those fans, the computer would quickly overheat and shut itself down. You can use the HP Coolsense feature to minimize the fan speed (and the noise) but you won't be able to eliminate it.
