Is this 5g compatable? null

This laptop has the Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n (1x1) wireless card. The N would allow you to connect the N router which is 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. Keep in mind that the N routers are older. The most current router is the AC router which is 5 ghz. The AX routers are even faster. But you would need a wireless card with the same wireless standard like AC. It will also depend on the amount of the internet that is coming into the home. For further assistance, I would recommend reaching out to a blue shirt in the computer department at Best Buy.
