It is my understanding that once you switch out of S-Mode, you cannot switch back. However, that was when Windows 11 was in beta testing. I would make sure before buying. That being said, I can't see any reason why you would want to switch back and limit your download capabilities.

You can switch out of the S Mode for free. Here are the instructions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4456067/windows-10-switch-out-of-s-mode. Once you switch out of S Mode, then you can download anything that you want to.
