• in laptops intended for the consumer, rather than the business user, most upgrades are only allowed by "proffesional technicians," as they are not easy. Otherwise, the warranty is voided. However, that doesn't mean they can't be made, if you don't mind the warranty issue. Checkout YouTube for videos on this and see if you think the procedure is beyond your capabilities.

• Thank you for the question. Yes, the RAM can be upgraded, but due to the Lithium battery (that must be removed during the upgrade) RAM slots are accessible/upgradeable by professional technicians.
