The i5-7200U processor in this computer has a turbo speed of up to 3.10 GHz. Start up speed varies based on the components inside the computer and the software installed. An i5 processor paired with 8GB of RAM is an excellent configuration. Swapping out the Hard drive for a Solid state drive would provide a tremendous boost in initial load times.
