Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no keyboard shortcut to disable the touch pad, but there are timing settings to keep the touch pad from registering movements while typing. You have to go through all of the Synaptics touchpad settings to ensure everything works just the way you like it. There are way too many settings to explain, so search for help if you need it and test each function to see how it works for you before settling on a final configuration.
