A:AnswerIt depends on what you need for your business. If you mean all the MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, and web browser, this is more than enough in both terms of speed and capacity. VDO camera and speaker are included, so you can use it with conference call.
A:AnswerI've never heard of any laptops being designed for user upgrades to GPUs. The manufacturer and resellers have mostly chosen compact, lightweight designs to keep down costs and impress consumers. Rather than looking to upgrade a CPU or GPU, buy the best you can afford for what you need. The only things you might want to upgrade are memory and HDD and/or SSD. You cannot easily upgrade anything else either (keyboards, network cards, wi-fi, ports, etc.).
A:AnswerIt is 7th Generation according to the blue and white Intel sticker placed below the right side of the keyboard. Additionally, if you run "Belarc Advisor" (a free downloadable program) you'll get additional information about the processor. Shortly after setting mine up, I downloaded and ran "Belarc Advisor" and got the following results for the "Processor" category:
2.90 gigahertz Intel Core i7-7500U
128 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache
4096 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (2 total)
Hyper-threaded (4 total).
That all seems impressive, but note that the "Belarc" report didn't mention the generation of the processor. However, when I look under it's "Controllers" category, I see the following:
Intel(R) 6th Generation Core Processor Family Platform
I/O SATA AHCI Controller.
I'm no expert, so I thought the "Controller" category results would also indicate 7th generation, matching the stickered label of "(Intel) CORE i7 7th Gen" for the processor. Maybe someone else can be of more help.
A:AnswerIt does come with these options, but you have to purchase to continue using them after 30 days. Of course If you have an account and had previously purchased, you just need to go into your Microsoft account to activate on this product.
