“Does this come with programs so it can be used for typing letters and sending to a printer? Also, does it have email and Facebook or do they need to be added. Games would be nice, as well.”

I use google docs and yeah you can send anything to a printer.

You can also use Microsoft 365 (formerly Microsoft Office) online to access Word, Excel, etc. You'll need a google account to work with a Chromebook, and Gmail is included. You can access Facebook either from the browser, or by downloading the app to the laptop. Games are accessed in the same way. You might want to browse the Google Play Store to see the many applications for work and play that are available for Chromebook.
