“Hi, got computer a month ago, have unresolved printer issues. Can a Canon pixma mx922 work with this computer? Do I need a usb 2.0 printer cable? want it wired. Printer will not print items in word, excel or outlook email (MS office 2021), advise?”

It would depend more on if the printer is compatible with Windows 11. You may need to update the drivers to test compatibility. The current HP inkjet line-up is with built-in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. In this case since it is a Canon Pixma mx922, you may want to contact Canon Support or Geek Squad to see about possible driver updates.
