“I know the camera is on top but is it a push to automatically open/push to automatically close or is it a pull up by tab to open manually/push down manually to close? I’m confused!!! I got it new and don’t want to break it, thanks.”

Previous answer by HP is actually incorrect, go figure! But anyways you are supposed to actually pull the camera manually up to open and push it back down to close it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's always better to ask before you start yanking on parts! Yes, you push down on the top of the camera to get it to pop up. You push it again to get it to go down and latch in the stoped position.
