Hi, I see your problem, and I have tried it. But, 144hz is only available on display port, and 120hz on hdmi, and Xbox (mine is an S) will not output anything above 60 fps. All games are limited to either 60 or 30 and even just the OS on Xbox will only run at 60 hz. Not the monitor, it’s Xbox max settings. A Xbox One S will do 4k 60hz which is a pretty high standard, but on the Xbox One X can game at that. Xbox does have a setting for FreeSync which is compatible with this monitor. And be sure to max out your settings. Response type lvl 5 seems to leave trails so I leave mine on 3.
