• Yes as long as your Chromebook has an HDMI out or VGA out port any monitor will work with it.

• Yes it should work with your chromebook if you have the right connector. You can connect to the monitor with HDMI or VGA. If your model does not have either of these it is possible to use a USB to VGA cable / adapter. Here is the spec sheet: http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c06020653.pdf
