• You would need an adapter that has a USB male end and an HDMI female end. They are quite common, you can get them from Amazon, Best Buy, Radio Shack probably has them. Search for "HDMI to-USB".

• To use this monitor to your laptop, you would want to plug it into the HDMI port. If you do not have the HDMI port on your laptop, then you need to get a USB to HDMI adapter.
