Looking for dual use, immediately need to use it for HP laptop for work from home as a second screen but then will want to use it with my MacBook air, will that work and if so for either option do I need an adapter etc? null

Thank you for the question. The HP M27h monitor has two HDMI 1.4 ports and one VGA port. It's likely that your HP laptop has an HDMI port and you can connect it with the included HDMI cable. For the MacBook assuming you have Thunderbolt (USB Type-C, DisplayPort) ports, you can either use an adapter or an HDMI-to-DisplayPort cable.

You would either need a Thunderbolt dock that has HDMI support on it or a USB-C to HDMI adapter to use this monitor with your MacBook Air.  These are available for purchase in the store.
