“I just purchased the 31.5 HP monitor online. After reading what's in the box just now, there's a CD in it. My computer does not have a CD drive. Will I be able to install/connect this monitor without using the CD? I do have an HDMI port.”

My purchase did not include a CD. I am using this monitor with a Mac book and also a lenovo laptop and it works seemlessly without any installation software.

Yup. Shouldn’t have any issues. I don’t have a CD or DVD drive and it was plug and play for me.

Yes, you will. The computer will be able to grab whatever files it needs from the HP website.
