• Hello, great question! Approximately 29GB is available. The flash drive manufacturer calculates 1gb as 1000x1000x1000 (base 10) meaning the number of bytes in it is 32,000,000,000 bytes total. Windows calculates 1gb as 1024x1024x1024 (base 2) Windows 32gb= 34,359,738,368 bytes and 32,000,000,000 divided by 1024x1024x1024= 29.8023223877 Gb. Thank you for being an HP customer!
