“Can this photo ink also be good to print regular non-photo prints? This ink is cheaper then the regular black ink for this printer. Will it still be ok to just use this ink to print regular documents?”

Yes - it is good for regular non-photo prints. However on my printer I must use both black and photo black cartridges for it to print correctly.

Photo black can be used to print documents but some printers require all cartridges to be installed in order to print, which means you will need both black and photo black. They are not interchangeable.
