• The red box is mainly for photos only, tho when you print out anything the regular black ink cartridge and the red box photo black work together.Very hard to locate in Best Buy in Patchogue,NY

• You can not replace photo black ink with regular ink. The photo black ink is intended to be used with regular black in a photo printer.

• The 564 photo black will only work in some HP Photosmart models that use five cartridges. The photo black ink will not replace the regular black ink cartridge.
