• No, it is HP 564 the XL makes it a larger capacity ink cartridge.

• HP 56 and HP 564 are different ink cartridges. They are not interchangeable.

• This is different. I have a printer that takes both. The different number sizes are the different shapes and sizes of the ink cartridges.
