• Depending on the color, the HP 564XL ink cartridges contain two to three times as much ink and will print two to three times as many pages as the standard HP 564 ink cartridges. The HP 564XL ink cartridges are compatible with any HP printer that uses the HP 564 ink cartridges.

• THE 564 XL INK CARTRIDGES HAVE MORE INK IN THEM SO THAT U WILL NOT RUN OUT OF INK AS QUICK.

• From the looks of the product specs they can yield a much higher amount of prints. Could be a higher quality of ink and thus allows you to print more.

• When the cartridge ends in XL, it will last much longer. I always buy the XL, even though they are a little more costly.

• You can print more pages if you are using the 564 XL before you will need to replace the color of cartridge.
