“why won't black ink print (new 920XL cartridge) on 6500A printer? Bought new 920XL black ink cartridge...installed it correctly...other three cartridges work well...nothing from black. Any answers?”

It wont work Because hp printers suck. I trashed mine and bought an Epson that I really like and the ink is less expensive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same all-in-one printer and have never had this problem. You might try performing s head cleaning and alignment. If that doesn't help it might be the ink cartridge itself or something between the cartridge and head.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It could be that the sensor on the printer has "died". I suggest you try taking the cartridge out. Then wipe the inside of the "holder" with a paper towel. Replace the cartridge. I hope that helps. Otherwise you will need to replace the printer.
