A:Answer I have been using the HP 94 & 95 cartridges for years. Until recently, never had any problem with them. Have had two 95 cartridges in the last year that became defective. I thought the 96 and 97 were the same, just different sizes. Not sure about that. I suppose HP discontinued them just to eliminate duplicate or similar SKU's in their system for inventory simplification purposes.
