You use regular batteries. This is not rechargeable

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you do need batteries. I have not had it long enough yo know how long the batteries will last. You do need to remember to turn it off when you are done to save battery life. There is a small on/off switch located on the bottom.

Please try again later.I have not used it yet, but it is my understanding it connects to the computer with no dongle and I assume charges through the computer just like a regular cordless mouse with a dongle does... this leaves your usb ports for for other things... it is made specifically for the Spectre computer, so I don't know if it would work with others???
