• I'm running windows 7 on a desktop HP. No Problems. Sorry I can't answer for your Acer specifically.

• This product should be compatible with any PC running Windows 7 with USB ports.

• HP does test their products with 3rd party products so we cannot guarantee compatibility. However, this product should work with your netbook as it only requires a usb port for connectivity.
