• A:Answer It works with an iPad so I will assume it would work with a MacBook pro. Although we did use a friend's windows laptop to do the initial setup using a modem/router connected to the TV/cable. You might want to contact HP or Best Buy for specific details.

• A:Answer Best to plug the model number into hp.com and see what the specs are. That would be the official word on the matter. If there is a mac driver, it will run with a cord because that is how you set it up.
