“Can I NOT use the wireless feature and just plug this printer in the HP laptop using the UBS cable?”

• I am using this printer as a wireless connection to my HP Slimline Desk Top Tower -- using the USB cable connection - works fine. All you can do is try it on your laptop - and plug in the power cord to a nearby power outlet - and follow the download & install printer software instructions from: 123.hp.com - just be sure NOT to plug in the USB cable until instructed to do so! Should work unless it's REALLY only considered as a wireless system. Go to: the HP websites for the hp desk jet 2655 printer - -- download the User Guide for yourself.for more info. if you haven't done so. Hope it works for you!

• Yes, you can it comes with the cord too. I just got this printer and it works fantastic. Very impressed, it's quick and the color is great.
