It CAN be used WITH a USB cable. Be warned, however, that the online Best Buy information for this printer shows that it comes with the USB cable. But it DOES NOT. The outside of the box clearly shows that there is no USB cable in the box. Why Best Buy says it does when it doesn't is beyond me. It's not a big deal because a cable costs less than $10 dollars. However, it is a pain to get it home, find no cable, and have to run out again to buy one. I promptly contacted Best Buy about this and, so far, they have not had the courtesy to respond to me.
