“Will this printer work with my macbook air and what ink cartridges does it use?”

• I'm not sure which Mac OSX your Macbook Air is currently running, but this printer has software support for Apple Mac OS X v10.9 Mavericks, OS X v10.10 Yosemite, OS X v10.11 El Capitan, OS X v10.12 Sierra. It appears to use the HP 65 black and tri-color ink cartridges. The starter cartridges that it comes with have an estimated 120 page yield for the black and an estimated 100 page yield for the color. You may get different yields from the full cartridges.
