Yes, I believe so. I have AT&T Wi-Fi & I wanted to buy an in-home security camera that was only compatible with 2G. When I called AT&T to inquire, I was told their Wi-Fi is 2G & 5G combined & the camera should work. This printer works, but not sure if it’s working off the 2G or 5G???
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a difference between the Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections versus the 5G Mobile connection. The majority of printers will connect to a 2.4GHz signal. Even though the 2.4GHz is slower, it travels over great distances than the 5GHz. If you are using a 5G Mobile Hotspot either from your phone or Hotspot device, it should still be sending out a 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi signal. This is not an on-the-go mobile printer and will not connect to a 5G Mobile network.
