“what is the cost of printer ink? does it use several or just black and tricolor”

• It takes just the black cartridge and tricolor cartridge. I purchased two extra of each because they were on sale for $12 each but normal price is just a couple dollars more than that. They say they last about 100 sheets each and I so far believe that. So they don't last long if you do major printing but for everyday at home use I find its great and inexpensive. Hope that helps.

• This printer uses HP 65 ink cartridges. It has 1 black and 1 tricolor cartridge. I hope this helps.
