“My computer takes awhile (2 min) then it gets the hp logo and boots up. Is the ssd drive working as it should. Is there anything else I can check?”

Thanks for your question Ernie and apologies for your troubles. An SSD hard drive with 12GB of RAM should be booting faster than that. Please contact HP support for help in troubleshooting your Desktop.
