Dolly, thank you for your questions on this! This HP Desktop computer does not have a CD/DVD drive. You can use an external USB CD/DVD drive with this computer. This computer does support Microsoft Office. It comes with a 30 day trial of Microsoft 365 which includes Word. We recommend purchasing Microsoft Office with this computer. The Microsoft Edge browser is preinstalled. During the setup, it will ask you to connect to your WiFi network.
