how do you open the disc door???? null

HP say thee is no optical drive but there is a blanked off slot on front of PC, what is that for?? Is that where the external drive is fitted

This HP Desktop M01-F1014 does not have an optical drive (CD/DVD drive). You can use an external USB CD/DVD drive.
