Since this is a refurbished model, there is no way to know exactly which i5 model this laptop has. The place it was refurbished would know the exact model. Originally, the laptop came with a 2nd generation i5 processor. It could be that the refurbisher put in a new processor, or it could be a typo. I hope this helps.
