- Answer There are many of these, this is not just one laptop for sale. Typically they were leased computers that a business used and at the end of the lease they return them to be refurbished and sold. I do not know the history of the computers.

- Answer This laptop does not include a built-in DVD/CD drive. However, you can certainly use an external DVD drive, which will plug into any available USB port. It has sufficient specs for school, but some photo editing programs will require a faster processor such as an i7.
