• You can purchase a Cable Matters or similar USB to Ethernet conversion dongle if you want to use a wired network. I am using one on my 2012 HP Pavillion G7 and it boosted my ethernet speed from 100mb to 1gb. Installation and cofiguration of driver software is automatic. Same is true if you want to add a DVD drive or other devices.

• I am using the ethernet to usb adapter, and it works extremely well. It is plug and play.
