You're right, normally that makes no sense. SSDs do not usually get combined with Optane. However, this is a new type of Optane/SSD product which combines BOTH on a single PCIe M.2 card. The 512GB SSD with 32GB Optane is correct.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the carton mine came in says 512 GB QLC.. Not that this answers your question. But I get different information from every HP source I check with. Have already returned to store and STILL can't get a straight answer from them or HP support about any of the conflicting specs of the one I purchased less than a week ago.. (one employee said the box may NOT match the actual specs of what's inside!..so we're buying a proverbial "pig in a poke."
