Follow up. You can still purchase this unit from Best Buy as of 8-2-2016. You have to order it via phone and they'll ship it to you. Good luck.

Best Buy probably sold out and ran out of stock. According to my local Best Buy, they were no longer getting any more delivery since I bought it through them last July.
