Great value overall. I'm having connectivity problems with network printers but I'm pretty sure it's Windows 10's fault. My only complaint about the hardware is the speakers. They sound decent and get pretty loud for a laptop but if you're watching a video and anyone who is speaking has a lower voice the speakers clip at the louder bass notes of the words. Also, the speakers are located right next to the screen and they have strong magnets that are close enough to distort the picture. You can see it a little in the photo I uploaded.

I’ve been very happy with this laptop. Display is crystal clear and dvd/cd player/burner. It’s a bit big to carry everywhere(unless using a laptop bag) but for me great as a “desktop”. I wanted a large display to watch shows of streaming services. Thks

This new HP replaced my old Windows 7 laptop, which I purchased in February of 2010. It worked solidly for over 6 years!! That's a long time in the computer world. This is why I love HP. Reliability.

Buying electonics can be kinda scary. But I always feel safe with a HP. The support center was very friendly and help in getting my laptop set up correctly.

The windows 10 takes time to get use to but overall is a good system. bIt has more to offer. The laptop is sturdy.

I love the face recognition at log in. It is a fast computer that meets all my business needs. Only issue is I have problems getting files to save where I want them. I'm sure geek squad can help me out with it

I have been an HP user for years, my last laptop was an HP Pavilion - worked flawlessly until my bad cat decided to knock it on the floor, not once, but twice! Even with the abuse, the laptop is working, but it has a broken hinge. So I replaced it with a new HP. When my son tells me "I wish I had some of these features on my laptop" I knew I picked a winner!

I own a sign business and always working with Illustrator and Photoshop. I can run both programs at the same time without any problems. The computer has no problems with files up to GB. My old computer used to lock up but this one is smooth. Great buy!

Finally, a computer large enough to store all my music in one place. Love it!

Were do I start I got in June 2016 at first I loved then in Sept all went bad and the screen had yellowing at bottom and kept having problems so I took into BB to have look at it .. ok they call and said it was the hard drive so it got sent out.. ugh ok 3 weeks later I got back so took it home did set it up till about week as I was used my old Lp later..ok the hard drive was fixed but what the the screen was not fixed so took back ok they had it hostage for about another 3 weeks so I took home again ok a few days go by humm I better check out omg it was worse and it was a new screen! Are you kidding me so back it went again hostage for about another 3 weeks ... omg. So I got today there was a note on it! It was unfixable What! So BB gave be a gift card to get a new one ok ok whatever.. but what makes me mad is I got this on sale for 899. It was a grand so the new one is the same but I had to pay the deference omg.. so its on order cz there was none in the store it was know after hrs I could not think so when I get I can still take it back.. so I'm thinking of tell BB you should make it right and make an even trade as there the same price if the other one was not on sale...I Have had HP for the last 15 years with no problems at all my old LT is 7 years old and it still good it just getting slower so it was time for new I thought! Maybe I'll save my grand..

There should be a dumpster at the end of the conveyor belt in the factory. Save a lot of wasted time that way.....

Did a lot of research to find the right computer for me and I'm super happy I picked this one! People tried to discourage me from buying a computer with a disk drive, but I've loved being able to rip all my exercise DVDs and my kids DVDs onto it to put them on my new nexus 6p (which I am also super happy with). Love the touchscreen, though some programs aren't the most touchscreen friendly (I wish lightroom had better touch options). Bought the care package and a 500 GB ssd and had best buy set my computer up for me and switch out the drive (picked it up the next day). Don't know how fast it would have been, but I love how fast it is! (From clicking restart to being back online is 15-20 seconds). Went with this over the HP spectre because of some of the reviews about the hinge having problems but also because of the side number pad and larger screen size. So glad I did! I love having such a big screen and I work a lot with numbers so more often than not find my self using the number pad on the side and not the one on top. I love the keys and the material of the key board. It is a heavier laptop and I feel like it could have something that makes it easier to open (there also seems to be something that catches on something where the case comes together)...and the colors when working with photos seem a little off, but I would buy this computer again in a heartbeat!

This laptop is the best computer I've owned. It has the design, speed and memory that I was shopping for. I always have several programs opened at once and this one does the job. Could not has asked for any better. Great price and great service. You can't go wrong with this one!!

While it may be a bit of an overkill for my home based application, I am very pleased with all aspects of the machine, including the massive storage capability, speed, 5.4Ghz Wi-Fi band width capability and the HD touch screen. Sound is excellent.

All in all I'm satisfied with the touchscreen, and the size, the graphics are nice and smooth for a laptop as well. Multitasking is easy but I wouldn't say it's a real fast laptop because of the hard drive being slow RPM style. The newer motherboards support DDR5 which isn't highlighted to the consumer very well and most wouldn't know the difference between DDR3 and DDR5 and why one means less memory is more than more memory of the other (lol). This one has DDR3 instead of 5 which is why they can cram 16 of it in there is my guess. It shows when using graphical editing programs or audio (in a good way I assume). Touchscreen capability, durability (heavier but that's what I wanted), and the graphics smoothness for a laptop make this a 4 star. Slow boot-up times and sluggish hard drive seeking nearly make it a 3 star.

I've only been using this laptop for about 2 weeks, but it seems like a good choice so far! The speed seems more than acceptable, as one would expect from an i7 with 16gb of memory. The crystal clarity of the large 17in screen is what stands out the most to me right now. The touch screen is going to take some getting used to, as this is my first laptop with such a feature; I suppose it could come in handy at times, but I'm not yet sold on its usefulness in a laptop. The only real negative that I could point out at this point is its weight; I wouldn't want to lug this across campus every day or work with it sitting in my lap for hours at a time.

Beautiful Laptop, Spacious screen, very clear. A little heavy and when I opened it had scratches and scuffed on it. Was given to me 15 days after wife purchased for me. Went to store but was told 14 day return policy. Still took over to geek squad because of keypad intermitent response. They turned it on, it worked fine at that moment if wanted to leave and have it check it would cost 99.00. Little upset since new, had tech person check it, working better now. Issues with software but only cost me 29.00 to check and fix.
