Q: Should this laptop take almost a full minute to start up?
A: maybe try to do the updates. Mine boots up in seconds (very surprising considering the 5400rpm drive) and everything is very fast.
Q: I want to buy the New HP Laptop?
A: m7-n101dx has 5th generation intel 5500u processor older m7-n109dx has 6th genaration intel 6500u processor newer also has realsense 3d camera
Q: Does this run Adobe Creative Cloud well? Specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign?
A: Adobe CC and photoshop work well for me with this laptop, no lags, app hangs, or any concerns. I've been able to manage/edit large files and utilize all my features with success. I replaced my pc for this laptop.
Q: HDD to SSD
A: According to the support forums at HP, you can upgrade to an SSD and replace the existing hard drive. You do need to keep the original drive available in case you need to send the laptop to HP for service under warranty.
Q: How good is the sound quaility with the quad speakers and subwoofer
A: Good enough to allow me to disconnect my external speakers. However, if you are expecting a Bose quality sound you may be disappointed.
Q: Which specific Intel Processor does the model have i.e i7-6700HQ?
A: This does not have the quad core processor in it. It's a dual core version of the 6th gen I7 processor formerly known as the "Skylake". It does matter for performance but this chip handles like a quad core. It's that fast.
Q: Can you play Blu-ray movies on this laptop?
A: No you cannot play Blu-Ray discs.
A: Silver on outside (except batter housing which is black). Inside (keyboard surround and around screen is linear carbon/black. Keys are silver (back lit if wanted)
