• Good enough to allow me to disconnect my external speakers. However, if you are expecting a Bose quality sound you may be disappointed.

• In my ears the speakers sound great. Not a lot of bass, if any, but they are loud enough, crisp and clear. I don't know of many laptops that have "blow you away" sound quality built into their speakers. I mostly use bluetooth sony headphones. If you have some headphones that need to be plugged in they sound great as well.
