No you cannot play Blu-Ray discs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately after looking more closely at the specifications, it does say it does not have Blu-ray so you will not be able to use Blu-ray for this computer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not support Blu-Ray playback. You will have to upgrade your optical drive in order to do so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a standalone LG USB BD-RW for PC (search model BE14NU40), and installed CyberLink PowerDVD 12 for free using the installation disc it came with. As much of a hassle as I normally get making this work without prompting me to "update my software" or whatever, I got this one to work much more quickly. Long story short, like any computer I assume, provided that you have this device, you will be able to play it on your laptop. Looks like this is a good week to get it, too. It's on sale for $99.99. This laptop, however, does not have a BD-R of any kind. But, with the right equipment (of $100 mind you), it CAN be the video feed for a Blu-ray disc. Not the answer you want to hear, but I didn't want you to go home with a straightforward "No" with no such remedies, as there are some, albeit expensive.
