I bought this as a gift to replace a laptop we were not happy with. This unit has the power for fast response and it still has the CD drive which you do not find very often in new laptops. The other feature we wanted is the touch screen which also increases fast operation and is a feature all laptops should be equipped with. We would never purchase any other brand than H.P. in the future.

Awesome laptop, very good. Bought this as an upgrade from my old laptop. Has a really good processing speed, a really good RAM memory and is even a touch screen. This is a good laptop for gaming as well, which was one of the reasons I upgraded to this laptop. My old laptop couldn't play games like Fallout 4 or Star Wars Battlefront 3, but with this laptop, they run smoothly. Really love it.

The laptop is amazing. It runs about as fast as my pc, boots up quickly, and handles gaming with ease. The camera is great as well as the 3d modeling, and the speakers and volume are awesome. I can watch movies and I never have to worry about the volume being to low. I love gaming on it, runs everything I want including World of Warcraft, cannot express how awesome this machine is.

This is the best computer I ever owned. It does everything I need it to do and the touch screen is an added bonus.

love the 16gig ram. The touch screen and sensor pad work great. The laptop is great for Photoshop and the many plugins, lots a free software. The 3-d demo is cool but wish it came WITH some 3-d apps (it comes with a childs 3D Disney game....) The interior seems like it will last but the exterior is a hard plastic, would love it to be metal to resist the scratches to come.... Overall, a great / affordable laptop. I searched for months and glad I ended up with this one

I wanted a large screen that was bright. The weight of the laptop was not important as I would rarely transport the device. The speed of the machine was the most important requirement...and the machine is very fast. Inclusion of Windows 10 was required. The laptop had everything I wanted and needed.

It does everything I want it to do. Love the touchscreen, comes in handy in many situations. Pretty fast.

Very satisfied with my new laptop. It has a lot of the extras I was looking for and needing in a new computer. I was hoping to find this in a 15" screen size but couldn't. HP should consider this for people like me wanting something not quite so bulky, otherwise I am getting used to the larger size.

I do photo retouching, am a student AGAIN, and run a business, help my grown kids with producing music etc and being in my 50s I needed a large screen a fast processor, the ability to light my keyboard for evenings, etc and this laptop has it all in one place! Even my kids are jealous!

This laptop was great for me with its big HD screen and plenty of storage and memory. Never noticed a drop in performance when running multiple programs at once and getting $150 off for the student discount made it a great buy for college.

Out of the box the Envy was great, experienced no issues and found almost nothing wrong with it, even for an HP it wasn't loaded down to hard with extras that got in the way, and in fact a lot of them were actually rather useful! However It is to be noted that only a week after getting the computer I started to experience strange disconnects from the internet, and found out that the production model I have uses a very shoddy Wireless chip that I will eventually have to replace, Luckily for me I purchased a wireless USB connector the same day as the computer and as a temporary replacement works amazingly well for a very low price.

This is a awesome computer. Lots of memory and quick. Can play games and love the touch screen.

This laptop is a good choice to replace a desktop AND to be occasionally portable. While it is long and heavy compared to a 2 in1; it has a wonderful large touch screen, huge storage, & good sound at a reasonable price. A special computer.

I really stepped up my computer time with this laptop it has more than I expected. Still learning something new everyday. I compared to other products and narrowed down my search before I purchased. I also saved $100 (was on sale when I purchased. love the 17" touchscreen.

I bought this laptop and I am very impressed. I am an engineering major so I use a lot of big and complex programs and this laptop is fast enough to allow me to use those programs easily. As well as has amazing graphics which makes gaming fun in my free time. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in college.

I wanted to replace a desktop with something portable without sacrificing power, graphics, or memory. (I also wanted an internal disc drive, which limited my options quite a lot.) This did the job! It's beautiful, powerful, and fast - exactly what I wanted!
