“How well does this computer work for various types of GIS software? I've found lists of system requirements for some of the GIS software I expect to be using in the near future, however, I can't quite verify with what Best Buy lists on their website if this computer will meet all of those requirements. Does anyone have any experience using this computer for GIS? If so, how well did it perform? Would you recommend a different computer? Thanks!”

I would assume your software would work, because I am using programs like Autodesk Inventor which is a big and complex, engineering program, and it runs perfectly fine on this laptop. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure if you mean Geographic Information Sys or not by GIS but assuming that is the case, I have no experience using that kind of software. The hardware can support just about anything from a software standpoint however if your GIS is heavy on graphics, you may have to upgrade the video card as it is a mid-end to a low high-end performer.
